Early commitments are coming in fast and furious around the country this spring, including at the University of Iowa where the Hawkeyes added two more verbal pledges over the weekend. Now the question is who's next?
First, a quick look at the prospects that Iowa already has on board. On Saturday, it was offensive lineman Colin Goebel that gave his commitment followed by defensive lineman Nathan Bazata on Sunday. Those two add to a class that already includes defensive end David Kenney, wide receiver Derrick Willies, and safety Delano Hill. That gives the Hawkeyes five commits before the end of April, which is the most anyone can remember, so while there are certainly a lot of other schools that have more, it is still a fast start for the Hawkeyes compared to previous years.
Who will be the sixth commit? It could be Indiana linebacker John Kenny, who visited Iowa City a week ago and gave the trip rave reviews.
