The Iowa Hawkeyes are looking for more speed in this year's recruiting class and may have found it if they can land recently offered Jacquille Veii out of Maryland. The 5-foot-10, 174-pound Veii was excited to receive an offer from Iowa assistant coach Darrell Wilson on Wednesday and looks forward to learning more about the Hawkeyes.

"I just got off the phone with Coach Wilson from Iowa and they're going to offer me," said Veii. "It's crazy to get a Big Ten offer. As a junior, Veii stood out on both sides of the ball for Avalon, which is a small private school in Gaithersburg, MD. He finished the season with over 1,100 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns and had 82 tackles and three interceptions on defense as well.
