LeVar Woods and Brian Ferentz weren't big believers in social media.

Woods saw his wife, Meghann, using Facebook and never saw the logic behind it. Ferentz says he used to make fun of his wife, Nicole, when she was on Facebook.

Times have changed for both Iowa assistant coaches and the Hawkeye Football program, which now embraces social media.

"The more you use it, the more you realize that you can connect with so many more people that you normally wouldn't connect with," Woods said.
