While our focus is on the Iowa football season, we are also keeping an eye on the future as all of the commits in the Class of 2013 begin action around the country. In our following the future update, we take a look at how the future Hawkeyes are performing on the field and more.

David Kenney Defensive End Indianapolis, IN Pike HS / No. 10 WDE Links: Profile | Video	RESULT: Pike (1-0) beat North Central 23-6. IN FOCUS: Kenney had 7 tackles including 2 TFL as Pike's first team defense held North Central to only 66 total yards in the first three quarters. BIG PICTURE: Kenney's teammate, Dominique Booth, who has an Iowa offer, caught 11 passes for 136 yards and 2 TD's. NEXT GAME: vs. Ben Davis on Friday, August 24.
John Kenny Linebacker Carmel, IN Carmel HS / No. 28 ILB Links: Profile | Video	RESULT: Carmel (1-0) beat Columbus North 27-7. IN FOCUS: Kenny had a monster game in his season opener with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble as the Carmel defense pitched a shutout until late in the fourth quarter. BIG PICTURE: With 2 sacks in the season opener, Kenny is well on his way to beating last year's total of 8. NEXT GAME: vs. Valparaiso on Friday, August 24.
