The Iowa coaching staff had a handful of visitors in town last weekend when they hosted UNI, including Class of 2014 quarterback Clayton Thorson who recently added an offer from the Hawkeyes. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Thorson, who attends Wheaton North High School in Illinois, is a prospect on the rise this month with offers from Northwestern, Illinois, and Northern Illinois in hand now in addition to Iowa. He attended the Hawkeyes' season opener at Soldier Field and has been at Iowa's camp each of the last two summers, so definitely a name to watch at quarterback for next year.
