This past weekend, Iowa hosted Chicago linebacker Reggie Spearman for an official visit and according to the three-star prospect the trip was a real eye-opener and lived up to expectations despite the Hawkeyes' loss to Purdue (LINK). The 6-foot-2, 219-pound Spearman officially added an offer from the Iowa coaching staff over the weekend and now has a lot to think about as he is currently committed to Illinois. He is also hearing a lot from Minnesota and may take an official visit with the Gophers before arriving at a final decision sometime in December or January.
