While our focus is on the Iowa football season, we are always keeping an eye on the future as all of the commits in the Class of 2013 are in action around the country. In our following the future update, we take a look at how the future Hawkeyes are performing on the field and more.

Nic Shimonek Quarterback Corsicana, TX Mildred HS / NR Links: Profile | Video	RESULT: Mildred (10-1) beat Cooper 38-14. IN FOCUS: Shimonek was 10/14 passing for 109 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the game. He also carried the ball 7 times for 19 yards on the ground as well. BIG PICTURE: On the season, Shimonek is 130/199 passing for 2,072 yards with 28 TD's and 5 INT's and has 620 yards rushing. NEXT GAME: vs. Clarksville on Friday, Nov. 30.
