Iowa was the first school to offer Thorson, who attends Wheaton North High School in Illinois, but has since been joined by Northwestern, Illinois, Penn State, Indiana, Northern Illinois, and NC State. Like McKinzy, Thorson is listed as a dual-threat prospect and actually split time between quarterback and wide receiver last season.
