Render recaps junior day
Class of 2014 prospect Keegan Render has held a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes since last summer and was back on campus again this weekend for Iowa's junior day. For the 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive lineman from Indianola, it was a good visit as he continues to build a relationship with the Iowa coaching staff.
"I thought it went well," said Render. "It was good to see all of the coaches again and just learn a little more about the program."
Render, who led Indianola to a 6-5 record this past season, met with several members of the Iowa coaching staff, who reiterated their interest in him as a college football prospect.
"I talked to Coach Kirk Ferentz, Coach Brian Ferentz and Coach Morgan a lot too," Render said. "They just said that they really like me and if I want to become a great lineman to go to Iowa."
