With less than a week to go until National Signing Day on February 6, the Hawkeyes currently sit at 16 verbal commitments with room for at least a couple more. We take a look at the top prospects still on the board as the Iowa coaching staff looks at rounding out the class.

Spearman's recruiting has been interesting to follow to say the least. First, he committed to Indiana early on, then switched to Illinois, but reopened things again this past fall. He has taken visits to Iowa and Minnesota and may have Syracuse next followed by an announcement on February 5. Spearman would fill a big need for the Hawkeyes at linebacker.
