Weekend Visitors Preview
With national signing day just around the corner, the Iowa Hawkeyes have one last weekend to host recruits. Several of the players headed to Iowa City this weekend are preferred walk-on prospects, but a few are still in the mix for an offer and one just recently picked one up. Jones also picked up an offer from Texas Tech this week, but decided to visit Iowa City instead of Lubbock. Once he gets home from the Iowa visit, the two-star prospect plans to make a decision among his three finalists, which are Iowa, Texas Tech, and Colorado State. A good visit this weekend should put the Hawkeyes in prime position to land Jones, who had 23 catches for 390 yards and seven touchdowns his senior year at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX.=
