Position recruiting: Wide receiver
Duck fans who follow recruiting had to be a little nervous by the first part of October. Josh Huff and Daryle Hawkins are done at the end of the year, and that's some serious talent and leadership to replace at the wide receiver position. One by one, top targets were falling off the board.
Back in August Oregon cancelled Nick Kurtz's visit and he committed to BYU. In September Fresno product Michiah Quick scheduled a visit but didn't show. On Monday Alex Van Dyke declared for UCLA. Braxton Berrios, the shifty playmaker from North Carolina seemed to be down to Oregon and Miami, but in the end family ties won out: on Saturday he declared for the Hurricanes.
