Hawkeyes land four-star OL
One week after saying there was a 75-percent chance that he was going to Iowa, four-star offensive lineman Andrew Donnal decided to up it to 100-percent. The 6-foot-7, 265-pound Donnal, who hails from Whitehouse, Ohio, made the call today and gave his verbal commitment to the Hawkeyes.
Donnal chose the Hawkeyes over scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois, South Carolina, West Virginia, N.C. State, and a number of others. What it came down to, according to the four-star prospect, was the comfort level he found in Iowa City.
With Donnal, who Rivals.com ranks at No. 127 among their current top 250 prospects nationally, Iowa is now up to ten verbal commitments in the Class of 2010.
