What a thread. It seems like Iowa has the same hate for ISU that us Kansas fans have for Misery and KSUcks.
I actually work in Lawrence, Ks for a company based out of Ames. We have quite a few Iowa, ISU, KU, and KSUcks grads. Also one Misery grad. So it's pretty fun talking smack on each other during football and basketball season. I actually won $10 this year off a ISU friend of mine. I bet him that ISU would not win two B12 games this past year. Actually I'm still waiting on payment. Good luck Hawkeyes, unless you play the Jayhawks of course.

This is one of those threads where you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when you read it for the first time. I had just finished putting up Christmas lights and pulled up the game tracker on ESPN. ISU had a comfortable lead on Kansas so I headed over to Hawkeye Report as I do almost daily. There it was...BigChief's 'Reap It' post. What went down in the hour after that first post made BigChief a legend...kinda like a Steve Bartman-like legend...someone who leaves his mark and rides off into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again.

One game. That was one game. Forget about the 42 points he put up against KU or the fact that he basically averaged a double-double over the entire season. Or the fact he was all Big 12 and has a hell of a chance at being an AA this coming season. All that REALLY matters is that he had a poor game against iowa. Is that how you measure all players? The point of that was to look at the other side of the spectrum. Let's focus on the his stats for the year. 20.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. That, my friend, is what counts. It only gets better this season.

You have endlessly posted ( and I mean endlessly ) that ONLY ISU fans hate iowa. Well, just read the above from Mr Neutral and he not only sees iowa hate towards ISU, but he talks of KU hatred towards MU & KSU as well. Well, there shoots your theory that it's all & only ISU towards your hawks.

So let me get this straight...in the above post you argue that we should focus on year long stats ( which I am fine with ). In another thread, you argue that IA-ISU football is 7-7 the last 14 yrs yet totally disregarding the fact the over the course on an ENTIRE season, Iowa has consistently performed well while ISU continues to land in the Big12 cellar.
So which is it? Season long stats or one game? You can't have it both ways either.
