I don't need 80 pts for a BCS bowl game, when I beat Texas A & M I'll be Big 12 Champion so thats not the reason I scored that much. It was actually the most complete game I've played with Texas, forced 6 turnover(5 of them interceptions in the Bears own territory(mostly in red zone), completed passes to 12 different receivers and had 66 pts after the 3rd quarter so not sure what else I could have done aside from kneel the ball the entire 4th quarter. I ran one pass play the whole 4th quarter. Also Baylor was running hurry up offense the whole game. I never have had a tendency for running up the score and I score 80 pts once and it gets erased and game gets simulated. Thats laughable, yes fortunately I won the simmed game or else Texas would have incurred their 2nd big 12 loss and Texas A & M would only then have one loss when I beat him and claim the Big 12 title and BCS bid. Hmmmmm......there was no ill intent there,lol. If that event had occurred then the commissioner would give the reasoning of solely the end result of a user scoring 80 points. The box score told the whole story and its erased now so no one can see it and judge for themselves. After the game was over I pointed the details of the game out to Merrill and he didn't have an issue after showing him the details. I put my reserves in midway through the 3rd, had 12 different receivers catch balls,ran/passed 21 times each and the only pass I threw in the 4th was a 2 yd screen pass that went for 74 yards on a 3rd and long with 4 mins in the game. I'm not going to bitch and moan about it but I don't agree in any way with just erasing someones game and simming it with no prior warning for running up the score personally. Majesty let me know when you want to play, I'm ready when you are. Later.

Like I said scoring twice in last 1:30 of 4th qtr up by 40 was unnecessary. I've been pretty consistent with my expectations. You can dress it up however u want but the proof is in the box score. The highly anticipated Lone Star Showdown was all it was built up to be. It was a back-and-forth battle with each team trading double digit leads.
The Longhorns got on the board first with 1:25 to go in the 1st on a 13-yard TD pass by Connor Wood. The Aggies responded just a few plays later after a 62-yard pass got A&M within the Texas five yard line.
Texas then scored back-to-back TDs to pull out to a 13 point lead with with 17 seconds left in the first half. However, A&M responded with a 91-yard kick return TD by LeKendrick Williams to pull within 7.
The Aggies got the ball first in the second half but freshman Michael Johnson fumbled the kickoff and Texas took over inside the A&M 20. A few plays later Texas was back on top by 13.
The Aggies were determined to fight back despite what had mostly been a lackluster effort to that point. A&M responded with a TD 54 seconds later on a 1-yard run by Mister Jones. A Wood interception would lead to another Jones TD and a two point Aggie lead. Wood's second INT would follow shortly after and Jones added his third TD with 1:41 left to put the Aggies up by 10. The A&M defense would hold the Longhorns to a four-and-out and Jones added his fourth straight TD with 23 seconds left to give the Aggies a 16 point win.
It was an incredible back-and-forth battle and an incredible second half performance by Texas A&M and especially Mister Jones.
reef did get offended by my scoring with 23 seconds left and said it was "running up the score". To that I say scoring when you get the ball inside the 10 with 1:00 left vs a bitter rival who has been long on the smack talk is different than scoring twice inside 1:30 against the CPU when already up 40. I can probably count the amount of times I have scored with the lead inside of 1:30 on one hand and that all includes all three of my leagues combined (10 seasons). Also, complaining of running up the score when your opponent has played the whole game with no offensive special teams or goal-line and you have been running 3-3-5 and 1-5-5 the whole second half and constantly moving your players around pre-snap to try and glitch the blocking assignments is pretty ironic.
Oh well, I guess it adds to the rivalry lol. I'm perfectly aware that if the roles are reversed next season reef will want to run the score up on me and I'm willing to accept that fate should the football Gods decide that for me...

I will say that if Wisconsin get the opportunity to score an extra TD or two against Illinois that would be ok. Maybe it could propel them up in the rankings a spot or two and potentially set up a user vs user game with my Aggies in a BCS bowl. There's no evidence that it works that way but in isolated instances tacking on an extra TD or two can be understood

Currently A&M is slated to face #6 USF in the Fiesta Bowl and #7 Wisconsin is slated to face #17 North Carolina in the Orange Bowl. Moving up one spot by the Badgers could very well lead to a Honey Do Badger vs Fighting Farmers Fiesta Bowl...
Of course either blakehawk or Colefolks cold screw that up by losing to the CPU lol

Majesty you won the game, why are you saying I'm trying to glitch in 2nd half? If I recall that's when u made your comeback when you relied on the 3-3-5 stack cover 3. I played a straight up game just don't think it's cool saying I was trying to glitch. If I was glitching on purpose why would I allow 4 straight tds in 2nd half? Doesn't make sense. You played a good game, yeah I was salty after that last td, just thought you would practice what you preech. It's ok that you scored but just thought you would take the higher road and not score. Just an FYI , when u don't have special teams all you have to do is ask coach and fg will come up or qb kneel. I just figured you knew that based on playing the game so much. Shaq - I posted that to prempt any complaining on the board about me scoring. I do think you were trying to manipulate the blocking AI by moving you DBs back and forth and your line and LBs around before the snap. Its a common tactic in online games and its well noted in many forums. Its not realistic and it causes confusion for the AI. If it didn't work then why wouldn't you just leave everyone in place before the snap?
It may not be intentional or malicious but a lot of guys that play online see these garbage tactics work against them and start employing them themselves. Same as I did when I started running 3-3-5 Cover 3. I figured it was working so well for you for a reason so I may as well try it too. It worked. I just didn't constantly move my DBs and front 7 around to create any mismatches.
Its not a big deal. I can handle most of the garbage that online players throw out there. However, not everyone plays as much as I have or has time to learn all of the counters to the "cheese". That's why I have rules to keep everyone on an even paying field. Next year I won't have as much time to learn all of those techniques so it will be even more important to me.
Again, maybe you didn't intend to be cheesy or didn't realize the effects of what you are doing. However, if you are doing things the other person isn't doing and isn't conventional (like moving your players around or continuously audibling) you should ask yourself why you are doing them. The likely answer is that they work...
Thanks for the heads up on the special teams bug. I'll try it if it happens again. That woulda been nice to know though in the first quarter though when I texted you and told you I had no special teams...

Constantly Running audibles is 100 percent natural. Aka Oregon calls a play then checks at the line to another play. Along with several other teams in today's NCAA.
Badgers blank Illinois 49-0 and will take whatever bowl the game gods land us. A user game would be a challenge with a backup back, although all the pressure would be on the other User. Honey Badgers will line up against anyone!
Can't wait to pick up a few more recruits and slide into the 1 class.
QB could be the only weak spot next season.

Hey everyone. I am going to be gone in Vegas from Tuesday until Sunday next week. PARTY!!!! Anyhow sounds line Merrill is gone for a bit so we can't start the off season for ahwile. I was hoping due to being in the offseason that we could wait for my return on Sunday. If by chance we do advance prior to me leaving I could at least set up my recruiting board and do a few things maybe via computer on Wi FI or possibly just give someone my log in info and have them do it for me. TCC would you possibly be able to help if that is the case? I am really mostly worried about position changes and redshirt and setting up the new incoming recruiting board. I do have 2 schollys to fill which I should be able to do online. Potentially if we advance only once per day that would allow me to get back before position changes and redshirt anyhow. We shall see. I just wanted everyone to know the scenario and ask for patience and or help.
Badgers looking for a title next season so the preseason prep is crucial.

Ok. So i have jquandt joining us next season and told him he could play his bowl game as Penn St which is who he will be taking over. He will play tonight and then I will advance to week 1 of recruiting.
If luett can get in and do week 1 recruiting then I will wait until he returns to move in to week 3. At that point we can go back to advancing once per day until we get to next season.
Thanks for everyone's patience. Has been a tricky couple of weeks with the advance issues and a couple of guys leaving town.

If you just paid the recruits like we do here in Wisconsin you would have top 25 class every year. Had to turn away #1 HB and #1 DE both soft commits. Next year I think I will save about 6 recruits for off season instead of only 2. Still should be fine without those guys. Looking forward to see how this Badger team looks on the field this coming year. New QB and new punter are really the only major changes. Need my back to gain some speed during off season.
