To me, rehosting this pic of a stranger on your own server space out of her control is worse than linking a picture that she herself has hosted for the express purpose of making it public and which SHE can remove at any time.
I'm sure you felt the same way about people reposting the pictures of Bowman and Douglas during the credit card fiasco, no?
I mean, they were on a social networking site much like the one this one is on and people saved them and reposted them. How DARE they save PUBLIC photos!
For the record, I don't think that's really bad either, just that it's worse than simply linking what a person has published themselves and which they can unpublish if they choose to. What you put on the internet on a public site is public, period.
If you guys really have a beef about protecting hte kids from embarrassment, then you should take it up with the Minn PD that published her name and hometown.
