SU tracking 2013 PA prospect

Offensive line is a position that gets recruited every year by a college football team. Syracuse is in solid position with depth on the line, but they are always looking for more.

One prospect that has caught their eye early is Dorian Johnson a 6-foot-5 270 pounds offensive line prospect from Belle Vernon (PA) Belle Vernon Area.

"I've gotten some stuff in the mail from Syracuse and a couple game invites, but that is about it for now from them."

Right now Johnson does not know a lot about Syracuse, but what he does now about the Orange says a lot about their program and where it is headed once again.

"It's a great football program in my opinion but I don't know all that much about the university to be honest."

Will he be taking up Syracuse on their invite to a game so that he can learn more about the Orange?

"I definitely would like to get up to Syracuse. I think it would be a pretty cool experience to take a trip up there."

It might be early in the process still, but one Big East school has wasted no time in offering Johnson.

"West Virginia is still the only offer I've received. I haven't really taken trips to too many other schools besides Pittsburgh and Penn State. I would say after West Virginia that Rutgers seems to be the most interested."

With one offer in Johnson expects more and he has a feeling why schools are interested in him at this point.

"I would say my size plays a pretty big part in that but other than that I work hard all year long, play hard, and always try to better myself."
