Video Notebook: Aaron Gordon

With the Wednesday commitment of four-star wing Jabari Bird to California, speculation began to rise that the college decision of Bird's AAU teammate, five-star forward Aaron Gordon, isn't too far away.

There's no secret that Bird and Gordon have considered playing together at the next level, although the consensus was that Gordon favored Washington over California. With Kentucky heavily in the mix for the athletic Gordon, will he make a trip to Lexington at some point in the fall?

Our guess at Cats Illustrated is yes, but getting Gordon all the way across country seems like a tall task for even as accomplished of a recruiter as John Calipari.

After coming off of a severe injury, Gordon was sensational at the Nike Peach Jam in South Carolina in July. He showed the ability to dominate the game in a variety of ways with his athleticism and skill-set; helping him cement his status as a top five prospect in the class of 2013.
