Jeremy Patterson has connection to NCSU




If there is an area of need for NC State in the 2014 class, it's along the defensive line. And one target that could be worth closely monitoring is defensive tackle Jeremy Patterson from Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County High.

Wayne County High should sound familiar to NC State fans. The Pack in 2011 signed T.Y. McGill from that school. McGill, an unheralded two-star prospect, has turned into a force on State's defensive front. McGill started 10 games as a true sophomore, making 50 tackles, including 10.5 for loss and five sacks.
