Hawkeye Shootaround

The Hawkeyes will look to continue to stay undefeated following a loss when they travel to Minnesota to face the Gophers for the second time this season. We have all the news you need to know leading up to tonight's game, plus a look at the key storylines heading into the contest, and our last call on the game.

THE LINE: Iowa opened at a 2 point favorite.

THE RECORDS: Iowa comes into the game with a 19-7 record this season. The Hawkeyes are coming off a home loss to Wisconsin and are 8-5 in conference play. Minnesota is 17-11 on the year and coming off a road loss to Ohio State. Minnesota is 6-9 in Big Ten play and the Gophers have lost six of their last eight games.

THE SERIES: The Hawkeyes and the Gophers met earlier this season with Iowa winning the contest in Iowa City, 94-73. Minnesota led that game at halftime, 43-41, but Iowa scored 53 points in the second half for the comfortable win. Iowa was led in scoring by Aaron White with 18 points. Josh Oglesby added 17 and Devyn Marble had 16. The Gophers were led in scoring by Andre Hollins with 20 points.
