Hawkeyes land 2015 guard

After making an unofficial visit this past weekend, Andrew Fleming said he was blown away after spending time around the Iowa basketball program. The 6-foot-5 guard from Tennessee was accompanied on the visit by his father and they returned home on Saturday evening to discuss the trip with his mother.
On Sunday, the talented shooting guard announced that he would be making his college choice on Monday afternoon. Fleming said he narrowed his choices to Iowa, Florida, Memphis, Ohio State, and Vanderbilt. On Monday, the 2015 guard, who was recently named Mr. Basketball in Tennessee, announced that he had officially committed to the University of Iowa.

This is the second commitment for Fran McCaffery and the Hawkeyes in the Class of 2015. In March, Brandon Hutton, a 6-foot-5 wing from De La Salle High School in Chicago, gave his verbal commitment.
Iowa still has three scholarships that currently remain open for the Class of 2015, but they could still fill two scholarships for 2014, although they are unlikely to use both this spring.
The Hawkeyes also recently received a verbal commitment from 2016 prospect Cordell Pemsl, a 6-foot-7 forward from Dubuque.
