2018 forward adds Iowa offer

Class of 2018 forward Brandon Johns added an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes this past weekend. For the 6-foot-8, 225-pound Johns, who attends high school in East Lansing, Michigan, it was Iowa assistant coach Sherman Dillard who was in contact to give him the news.

"I heard from Coach Dillard," said Johns. "He is the one who initially contacted me."

"I was really shocked when they offered since we were still building a relationship with them," he continued. "It was a great thing to happen."

Iowa is the second school to offer Johns, joining Alabama on his list, but there is no shortage of interest for the four-star prospect in the Class of 2018.

"Michigan, Michigan State, Texas, VCU, and Purdue have all shown interest," Johns said.
