The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer four-star defensive end Malik Vann in the Class of 2018. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Vann received the news when Iowa recruiting coordinator Kelvin Bell stopped by Fairfield High School in Ohio today.

"They came into the school today and offered," said Vann. "It's another Big Ten powerhouse that I now have the option to choose from."

Overall, Iowa is offer No. 19 for Vann as the Hawkeyes join Notre Dame, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Duke, Iowa State, Louisville, West Virginia, Miami of Ohio, and Toledo.

"It feels great," Vann said. "Knowing that coaches see talent in you and like you enough to offer, it's a feeling of accomplishment to receive them so early."

Currently, Vann plans to make his college decision on June 26, 2017.

"The date just stuck for a while, so I went with it," said Vann.
