Hawkeyes offer Class of 2019 DB

Class of 2019 defensive back Larry Tracy III picked up his first scholarship offer on Wednesday, which came from the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Indianapolis native, whose cousin Tyrone Tracy Jr. just committed to Iowa this past weekend, was thrilled to receive the news.

“My coach told me after my first period class,” said Tracy. “It brought straight tears to my eyes.”

“I have been working my whole life for this and it has finally happened,” Tracy continued. “I give all the praise for my ability to my dad, my family, and number one, God.”

Tracy, who has not had a chance to visit Iowa City yet, hopes to schedule a trip with the Hawkeyes in the near future.

Other schools showing interest in the Class of 2019 prospect include Indiana, Illinois, Bowling Green, and Illinois State.
