The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer Class of 2018 prospect DaShon Bussell from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Bussell received the offer from Iowa recruiting coordinator Kelvin Bell on Wednesday night.

"Coach Bell texted me his number and told me to call, so I called and he offered me," said Bussell. "My reaction was I was very happy and excited to receive an offer from Iowa."

With the ability to play on either side of the ball, Bussell now has eight offers overall as Iowa joins Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Western Michigan on his list.

"They like me at both," Bussell said of Iowa. "They said that's what make me special is that they like me at either wide receiver or defensive back."

The Class of 2018 prospect looks forward to learning more about the Hawkeyes and visiting Iowa's junior day next month.

"I don't know that much yet, but I will learn a lot about them when I go visit March 5," said Bussell.
