Versatile Florida athlete Patrick Jolly Jr. is up to five scholarship offers with the latest coming from the Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Jolly received the news from Iowa defensive coordinator Phil Parker, who really likes his potential.

“I feel very grateful about the offer,” said Jolly. “I really appreciate it and thank God.”

“Iowa is a very good school and has good coaching from what I've heard,” he continued.

“Phil Parker is who I talked to when they offered and he told me that he sees potential in me and can get me to big places.”

The Hawkeyes told Jolly they could see him playing running back or wide receiver in college.

Currently, Jolly’s other offers include Colorado State, Central Michigan, Florida Atlantic, and Bethune-Cookman. The junior from Lithia Newsome High School is also hearing from South Florida and Toledo, among others.
