The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer four-star linebacker Rocky Shelton. The 6-foot-0, 209-pound Shelton attends St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, which produced Class of 2017 running back Kyshaun Bryan, who signed with Iowa this month.

"I talked to Coach Wallace, the linebackers coach, and he was very excited to talk to me and I was excited to talk to him," said Shelton. "I am blessed and happy they offered."

"Kyshaun speaks a lot of positive things about them, how they care about the players and it's truly a family there," Shelton continued. "He also says the school's tradition is very exciting and the fan base is just awesome. He said it's a great place to attend and play football."

Shelton's long list of scholarship offers now includes Iowa, Florida State, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Louisville, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Kentucky, East Carolina, Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Florida Atlantic.
