Indiana wide receive Mac Hippenhammer added an offer from Iowa today.

After attending Iowa's camp earlier this month, 2017 prospect Mac Hippenhammer received some big news from the Hawkeye coaching staff today. That was that they were ready to offer a scholarship to the 6-foot-0, 170-pound wide receiver from Indiana.

"I went to camp at Iowa, did my thing, and two weeks later I got the offer," said Hippenhammer. "I'm excited."

For Iowa, it was recruiting coordinator Kelvin Bell and wide receivers coach Bobby Kennedy that reached out to the three-star prospect today.

"I talked to Coach Bell and Coach Kennedy," said Hippenhammer. "They said they really like me as a person and player."

Now that Hippenhammer has the offer, he looks forward to learning more about the Hawkeyes and scheduling another visit to Iowa City.

"I like Iowa," Hippenhammer said. "I'm eager to get to campus and see more of what all they have to offer."

Overall, Iowa is offer No. 15 for Hippenhammer as the Hawkeyes join Penn State, Wake Forest, Illinois, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, and Yale on his list.
