The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest program to offer a scholarship to offensive lineman Cody Ince. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Ince, who hails from Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, received the offer from the Iowa coaching staff during a visit to campus on Wednesday.

"I was extremely blessed to receive it,” said Ince. “I was on a visit today and at the end of the day, I met with the head coach. We talked for a while and he offered me a scholarship. I am very excited to receive my first Big Ten offer."

Ince’s list of scholarship offers now includes Iowa, Virginia, Wyoming, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, North Dakota State, South Dakota, Indiana State, Illinois State, and Western Illinois. While the Hawkeyes are a new addition, Monday’s visit left him impressed with what the program has to offer.

“I was impressed with the people there,” Ince said. “They were welcoming and very down to earth.”
