Hawks land four-star

Four-star defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson put an end to all the talk and speculation as he officially announced his college decision this morning. The 6-foot-2, 277-pound Illinois native has verbally committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Johnson posted the news on Facebook at 11:30 AM today.

"After long talks with friends and family it has come down to Michigan State and the University of Iowa. Long story short, I JUST COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA!! HAWKEYES BABY!!!"
Along with Iowa and Michigan State, Johnson also held scholarship offers from Arizona, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Boston College, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Toledo.
The defensive tackle is the sixth commitment for the Iowa coaching staff in the Class of 2012.
