Hawks land in-state DE
Pella defensive end Austin Schulte has made his college decision. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Schulte, who had 71 tackles and 19 TFL his junior year, announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes tonight.

A three-star prospect, Schulte earned a scholarship offer at Iowa's one-day camp on June 8. He also had offers from UNI, North Dakota State, South Dakota, and South Dakota State, but once the Hawkeyes threw their hat in the ring it seemed like just a matter of time.
"It just felt right," said Schulte. "I have been thinking about it a lot and Iowa was just the right fit for me."
Schulte is commitment No. 14 for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Class of 2016.
