In-state defensive back Riley Moss has accepted Iowa's grayshirt opportunity and will join the Hawkeyes on scholarship in January of 2019. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Moss, a senior at Ankeny Centennial, was previously committed to North Dakota State, but the late interest and offer from Iowa was too good to pass up.

"They came in late recruiting me and started contacting me during this past season," said Moss. "I went to a couple game day visits and stuff and they came and watched my senior film and I guess they liked it."

"I went this past Friday and visited and watched a practice," Moss continued. "I met with Coach Ferentz and Coach Parker and talked about playing time and that sort of stuff."

Moss, who will play safety at Iowa, called the opportunity a dream come true.
