In-state LB John Carlson walking on

Bondurant-Farrar linebacker John Carlson has made his college decision. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Carlson is going to walk on at the University of Iowa and play for the Hawkeyes. Carlson, who visited Iowa City this past weekend, gave his commitment to the Iowa coaching staff this evening.

"I had a good conversation with Coach Southmayd as well as Coach Wallace to answer any remaining questions I had and I heard everything I wanted to hear," said Carlson. "Being a lifelong fan, it was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up."

As a senior, Carlson produced on both sides of the ball with 39 catches for 915 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense to go along with 35 tackles and 4 TFL on defense.
