Iowa WBB signs three commits

Coach Lisa Bluder and her staff officially added three commits to their future team, as they signed their national letter of intent today. The 2022 class is only three players, but three strong prospects, who all land in the ESPN HoopGurlz Top 90.

All three girls played with the All-Iowa Attack AAU program. The same program that had had Caitlin Clark and Kylie Feuerbach on the same team during their AAU days.

F 6’0 Hannah Stuelke (Cedar Rapids, IA) – 4 Star #45 ESPN HoopGurlz Rankings

Stuelke is out of Cedar Rapids Washington and helped her team to a 13-4 record last year as a junior. She averaged 21.4 points per game and is a good rebounder at 6’0, averaging 12.2 per game. She shot near 58% from the field and will be the highest rated player in the state of Iowa for her senior season.

F 6’1 Jada Gyamfi (Johnston, IA) – 4 Star #76 ESPN HoopGurlz Rankings

Gyamfi started her high school career with Urbandale, but transferred to play for Johnston last season. As a junior she helped lead the Dragons to an 18-2 record and a state championship appearance. She averaged 13.7 points per game and nearly 8 rebounds.

G 5’9 Taylor McCabe (Fremont, NE) – 4 Star #89 ESPN HoopGurlz Rankings

McCabe is a shooting guard coming from Fremont, Nebraska, who can put the ball in the hoop at a high frequency. As a junior last season McCabe helped lead her team to a 23-4 season and state championship appearance. She averaged 23.6 points per game, while getting on the stat sheet in a number of other categories, including rebounds (4.9), assists (3.7) and steals (2.6). As a sophomore, Taylor set the Nebraska 1A record for 3pt field goals in a season with 107.

McCabe had other offers from Nebraska and Creighton.
