Marcus Paige decides

Four-star point guard Marcus Paige has made his college decision. The Class of 2012 prospect from Linn-Mar High School in Marion, Iowa, has verbally committed to head coach Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
"I would like to thank all of the coaches across the country who have taken the time to recruit me to be a part of their basketball program," Paige said in a press release today. "The recruiting process has been exciting for me and my family."

"At this time I would like to announce that I have accepted a scholarship offer from Coach Roy Williams to continue my career as a student athlete at the University of North Carolina."
"The decision process has been difficult and the deciding factors for me include the great relationship I have developed with Coach Williams and his staff, the history and tradition of North Carolina basketball, and having the opportunity to play for a national championship."
Rivals.com currently ranks Paige as the No. 37 prospect in the nation in the Class of 2012. The four-star recruit chose North Carolina over scholarship offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Clemson, Virginia, and Minnesota, among others.
