The Iowa Hawkeyes had a lot of success with punter Ron Coluzzi as a graduate transfer this past season and now will be adding his younger brother to the roster in 2017. Marshall Coluzzi, a 6-foot-0, 215-pound long snapper from Naperville North, announced today that he will be joining the Hawkeyes as a walk-on this year.

“I chose Iowa because ever since I went there for the first time with my brother Ron, it felt right,” said Coluzzi. “The program accepted him as if he’d been there for the four years prior and I loved that.”

“It is a football family there and that is what I am looking for,” he continued. “Not only will I get the best training and football experience, Iowa City and especially the fans are incredible.”

“I’m extremely excited and cannot wait to get started,” Coluzzi said.
