New 2017 Offer: DE Tyree Johnson
Three-star defensive end Tyree Johnson is up to 19 scholarship offers. The latest to offer the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder was the Iowa Hawkeyes, who reached out to the Washington D.C. native on Monday night with the news.
"Coach White sent me a direct message and told me I had the offer," said Johnson.
"I think Iowa has a great football program. They're coming off a great season and I like the way they play football down there," he continued. "Also, I've got a pretty good relationship with Coach White."
Johnson now holds scholarship offers from Iowa, Boston College, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
