The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer Class of 2017 wide receiver Sean Savoy from Washington D.C. The 5-foot-10, 172-pound Savoy received the news after Iowa assistant coach Chris White stopped by Woodrow Wilson High School on Thursday.

"I received it yesterday," said Savoy. "It was amazing knowing that they are that interested in me."

For Savoy, it is his sixth offer overall as Iowa joins Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, and Virginia Tech on his list. With the other schools being closer to home, he is still in the process of learning more about the Hawkeyes, but likes what he has heard so far.

"I know it's a really strong and stable program," Savoy said.
