New 2018 Offer: Tyrik Henderson

Just a few days after making an unofficial visit to Iowa City, Class of 2018 cornerback Tyrik Henderson has a new scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Henderson received the news after Iowa assistant coach Brian Ferentz visited Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, IL today.

"I was honestly shocked," said Henderson. "Iowa is a great university in a great city filled with many loyal and loving fans."

"My thoughts on Iowa are it's a great, hardworking program that cares about developing their players into young men on and off the field," Henderson said. "I respect that."

Overall, Iowa is offer No. 7 for Henderson as the Hawkeyes join Indiana, Missouri, Purdue, Toledo, Central Michigan, and South Dakota State on his list.
