Oglesby picks Iowa

After looking over thirteen scholarship offers from all over the country during the recruiting process, Cedar Rapids guard Josh Oglesby decided his future was just down the road. Today, the 6-foot-5, 175-pound Oglesby announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes in a press conference at Cedar Rapids Washington High School.
In August, Oglesby narrowed his choices down to Iowa, Minnesota, Arizona State, and Illinois, and made officials visits to the first three this month before cancelling his trip to Illinois. He also held offers from Northwestern, Boston College, Providence, Butler, and Creighton, among others.
