Texas teammates visit Iowa City

The Iowa Hawkeyes had four teammates from Sachse (TX) on campus for their spring game on Saturday. The big name was three-star linebacker Riko Jeffers, who was joined by Kelon Wilson, Nicholas Alexander, and underclassman Drue Jackson on the trip.

A 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker, Jeffers currently holds scholarship offers from Oklahoma State, Washington State, SMU, Colorado, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, New Mexico, and North Texas, among others.

While the Hawkeyes are still looking for a linebacker in the Class of 2017, they have not joined that list just yet, but will be staying in close contact and stopping by Sachse in the next couple of weeks during the spring evaluation period.
