Backs battled for yards
In the first quarter it looked like Mark Weisman and Damon Bullock were both headed for 100 yard days on the ground. That's when the Northwestern defense put the clamps down on Weisman, Bullock, and rest of the Iowa rushing attack, allowing only 50 yards on the ground after the first quarter. Bullock and Weisman talk about the win and the struggles with the run game for most of the day.
