Cooper DeJean Named to Big Ten Preseason Watch List
The Big Ten no longer releases formal preseason predictions or preseason All-Big Ten teams; instead they release a 10-player "watch list" to highlight some of the top players in the league heading into the season. Cooper DeJean was named one of those players today as Big Ten Media Days get underway at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, IN.

In 2022, DeJean had 75 total tackles, including 3.0 tackles for loss. More importantly, he had five interceptions (three returned for touchdowns) and eight additional passes broken up. He also allowed just a 10.8 QBR as the primary coverage guy. DeJean enters 2023 as one of the Big Ten's very best defensive backs.
