After initially planning to wait until February, four-star safety Dallas Craddieth changed course today and committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes during the early signing period. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound St. Louis native made the announcement this morning.
"I thought really hard about it and Iowa just felt like home when I had my official visit and I really believe Coach Parker can turn me into the player I want to become," Craddieth told HawkeyeReport.com. "I really mixed with the players there already and it just felt right and it’s a great program."
Craddieth had narrowed his options down to Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana in recent weeks, but also picked up scholarship offers from Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Michigan State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Memphis, Purdue, Kansas State, Syracuse, North Carolina, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt during the recruiting process.
Overall, Craddieth is commitment No. 17 for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Class of 2018.
