Wisconsin offensive lineman Cody Ince has reached his college decision. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Ince announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes tonight in a statement that he released on Twitter.

"Thank you to my family for all the love and support you have gave me over the years and to all of my coaches for shaping me into the young man I am today," Ince said in the statement.

"I appreciate all of the schools and coaches that have expressed interest in me throughout the course of this recruiting process."

"After giving it a lot of thought, weighing out all of the options, and processing all of the generous offers, I am excited to announce that I am 100% committed to continuing my academic and athletic career as an Iowa Hawkeye!!"

A three-star prospect, Ince chose the Hawkeyes over scholarship offers from Minnesota, Maryland, Virginia, Purdue, Central Florida, Wyoming, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, and Central Michigan, among others.

Overall, the Wisconsin native is the eighth commitment for the Iowa coaching staff in the Class of 2018.
