The Iowa Hawkeyes became the latest team to offer highly sought after Class of 2019 point guard Tyger Campbell today. For the 6-foot-0, 170-pound Campbell, it was a special one as he grew up in Iowa before moving out of the state in eighth grade.

"It was great getting recognized by my home state," said Campbell.

As an eighth grader, Campbell played varsity basketball at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Tennessee and then relocated to La Lumiere School in Indiana as a freshman this past season. Both of his parents are originally from Iowa, however, and still have a lot of family in the Hawkeye State.

"A lot of my family lives in Iowa," Campbell said. "A majority of them live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Waterloo."

Currently, the 2019 prospect holds scholarship offers from Iowa, Michigan State, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, UNLV, DePaul, New Mexico, and Western Kentucky.
