Two weeks after picking up a scholarship offer from the University of Iowa, in-state offensive lineman Noah Fenske decided it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound New Hampton native gave the Hawkeyes his verbal commitment today during a visit to campus in Iowa City.

"I really didn’t think that I would make my decision going into today, but after talking to the players and hanging out with the coaches, I felt at home and just felt like it was time," Fenske told HawkeyeReport.com.

Along with Iowa, Fenske held offers from North Dakota and South Dakota State with other schools such as Iowa State, Nebraska, and Minnesota showing recent interest, but the Class of 2019 prospect is relieved to have the weight of his college decision now off his shoulders.

"It's just amazing," said Fenske. "My dream is coming true and that is amazing."

Overall, Fenske is the fourth commitment for the Iowa coaching staff in 2019 as he joins Ezra Miller, Tyler Endres, and Logan Lee in the Hawkeyes' recruiting class.
