The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer Class of 2017 safety Keontae Jones. For the 6-foot-0, 175-pound Cincinnati native, it was one of three Big Ten offers that he added on Wednesday as first it was Rutgers, then Indiana, and finally Iowa, who definitely intrigues the three-star prospect.
"It's a really great feeling because they're a big school who was in the top four most of last year," Jones told HawkeyeReport.com. "It's nice to know that I could be a part of that."
Overall, Jones is now up to ten scholarships as the three schools today join Iowa State, West Virginia, Illinois, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Toledo, and Miami of Ohio on his list.
As a junior, Jones finished the season with 80 tackles and four interceptions at Cincinnati Colerain High School. His older brother, Deshaunte Jones, signed with the Iowa State Cyclones in the Class of 2016.
