The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer Class of 2018 prospect Mario Goodrich. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Goodrich received the news after Iowa assistant coach LeVar Woods stopped by Lee's Summit West High School this morning.

"Coach Woods was at my school earlier today, but I wasn't there because I got my wisdom teeth out," said Goodrich. "So my coach texted me and said Iowa is going to offer. I was excited to hear it."

For football, Iowa is the fifth school to offer Goodrich, joining Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and Missouri on his list. Other schools showing interest include Nebraska, Arkansas, Illinois, Northwestern, Cincinnati, and Louisville.

A two-sport athlete, he also holds Division I offers in basketball from Tulsa, DePaul, Denver, and Miami of Ohio.
