After a little detour that took him to Iowa Western Community College this semester, defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon is excited to get his career started with the Hawkeyes in January. After Iowa Western's bowl win today, we caught up with Nixon to talk about his journey, the new offer from Alabama this fall and how he handled that situation, his upcoming official visit to Iowa City, and his future with the Hawkeyes.
